>> It is no longer an ontology with the concepts of being, essence, being, substance and subject, but rather a realized cybernetics that replaces creativity with the techno-genesis of the technosphere beyond the boundaries of the human-non-human distinction. Thus, art and aesthetics become precisely the aestheticization and visualization of events, and man is no longer determined from the essence of language as animal rationale , nor as Dasein in Heidegger, but as homo kybernetes who has become an actor/interactor of the technosphere network.
Also:
>>Aestheticization and visualization: Art is no longer an autonomous sphere of the spirit; it has been transformed into the aestheticization and visualization of events within an interface. The image loses its aura and becomes operational data.
The transformation of man: Man is no longer a being of language or Heidegger's Dasein (being-there). He becomes Homo kybernetes – a mere node, actor or interactor within an all-encompassing digital network.
Mind you, I think his conclusions are both hideous and trite, and a grossly similar rehashing of Marinetti's Futurism, which is a shame considering that his thesis begins pretty well. Still, here we are, and at least he's attempting to build a framework for it, so I thought it worth a share.
