    I've been under anesthesia once and it was a wild expirence. It is not like sleep at all. Feels more like a time warp. The main difference is that with sleep you still have some sense of time. Anesthesia feels like teleporting into the future in one blink.

    I couldnt stop thinking about how it felt for weeks.

      depends on the anaesthesia.

      Once fully under. I remember being wheeled down to OR, talking, counting down... then... I was waking up in bed in recovery area.

      Once had a colonoscopy, and I was awake during the procedure, but there was a "dropout" in the middle, sort of like I lost track of what people were saying and I was "back" as they were finishing up.
