second step is to assess how much oneself is actually one's own self. how much bot and how much human are you.
third step is to decide how much one's own thoughts affect or cloud judgement of self in the current work/life/who the fuck am I context.
I've experienced people turn into plastic within 5 years. they were boringly and envy-based fucked up to begin with but AI and the "getting ahead" self-help theme completely killed whatever human tendencies were left. every "AI creation" and (reverse) engineered or custom vibed tool was correlated with a reduction in individual character. what they said was like a swarm of GPT 3 bots repeating themselves with "varying temperature" settings. they were probably another year away from leaving their creative plateau, jumping beyond out of pure frustration and despair, finally getting there and it here after 25 years of practice and work but then it was all gone. they had good amounts of money at the time, not millionaires or anything close, though.
know which paths in the past you ended up on because of people and your and their "retardations". learn what broke or reduced which parts of brain/mind/body. then choose wisely. if you choose a plastic life, do not try to elevate yourself via good or bad behavior anymore, it will be counterproductive.
