there are a large number of jet engines sitting in hermeticly sealed cans that are filled with an inert gas, this has been standard from the start of jet age. most of theses engines can be adapted for stationary or motive power use in ships or other things, but as pointed out the energy conversion efficiency for running a generator, is realy realy low, and therfor poluting and insanely loud and all of the units installed by power companys in the past were there exclusivly for emergency back up power, and it is likely that the exemptions written for emergency turbine use are bieng missapropriated for data centers, along with the physical turbines that are bieng replaced with battery banks.

"Effective Altruism" gang strikes again. Surely, jesus didn't save us, but this AI, of course it will.

Funny how the climate change scam is now being exposed. It's super important when they want to introduce new taxes and make people poorer but for powering up the data centers, it suddenly doesn't matter at all.

so your rationale here is that people who have been concerned about the effects of the climate change are the ones that are allowing jet engines to power data centers, yes? same group, led by Greta Thunberg? :)

It's true for mainstream, globalist, liberal politicians.
