        Neither one of those things give them the technology to compromise nearly every system that relies on technology in your country. Including, refrigerators, nuclear reactors, flight systems, etc, etc.

        So, not exactly an apples to apples comparison.

          Exactly! The protests concern 'environmental and social costs that “we can no longer afford”', and the article makes no mention of China.

          "China wins" is not therefore not an apples-to-apples comparison when the topic is "the impact of chatbots on mental health to the threat of AI eliminating jobs and the prioritisation of datacentres over housing".
