The text to speech is generated on the server using the amazing Piper [0]. Be gentle :-)
Deeply, unashamedly self-promotional links:
- this same server runs 43 projects (I counted) thanks to Disco [1], a self-hosted PaaS open source project I contribute to. It's used by solo devs and startups to iterate fast and not spend $10k+ on Heroku/Render/Vercel.
- I released a bunch of funny-ish projects I'm proud of recently: noise'r'us [2] (like placekittens.com but for audio), a site to help spammers reflect on what they did [3], a (not fun) trivia about WordPress functions [4], qrsticks [5], a surprising way of generating QR codes from stick figures, and spacebar [6], a Finder/Quick Look extension that lets you preview .sqlite3 and .md files in the Finder.
- and more haha. I'm excited to revamp my personal sites to point to more stuff. in the meantime here's a sorta portfolio [7]
Cheers!
