Today's seemed randomly pretty hard, but I hit the archive button to try and yesterday's, and got all in the 80s and 90s.

It's more fun when you think you're skillful!

this is interesting but not so accessible - I have no conception of how big or small a power station turbine rotor is. I've only seen the pictures of statue of liberty and big ben with no banana for scale. so it's pure guessing, which is less fun.

why not more accessible things - a basketball hoop vs a delivery truck, a chicken egg vs a toilet, etc. things you don't ordinarily see side by side but you know roughly the size of each so you can compare.

I guess that's part of the game...

+1 to that. the one with the egg for instance was great

Maybe all the rounds could also have a human for scale

The power station turbine one is particularly asinine because the size range is huge.

So they give you the name of the exact turbine, but like... how is that helpful. I don't know random german nuclear turbines by name, and looking it up just... tells me the size and makes the game pointless.

This is great but the interface/UI needs some work.

I tried to max out the power turbine, and the grid did not follow and I assumed it hit the max size. I guess the action would be to zoom out and then further drag, but this is a bit annoying, same for zooming in past some scale.

The idea is interesting, but its too USA centric

I don't understand that at all.

There's the Statue of Liberty, and I guess a basketball hoop..?

Meanwhile there's a meerkat, egg, power plant turbine, Big Ben, wombat, panda, Chichen Itza and the Pyramid of the Sun, none of which are remotely USA centric.

What makes you say that? I'm in the USA and I don't think I've ever seen a meerkat, wombat, or a newborn panda cub in person. I think that was partially the point of the game though, wasn't it?

Some of the other games on this site use the metric system and I struggled so you could be off the mark on USA. I'd guess Australian centric based upon the animals and metric system

I felt that too honestly. The concepts, the objects somehow hinted at this

On mobile it just drags. Doesnt chabge size

One finger to pick it up. Add another finger to scale

There definitely needs to be instructions if on mobile

Fun little game. Had no idea big ben's clock face was so small though haha.
    • garbagepatch2 hours ago
I don't know the size of the statue of liberty's book so I still don't have any idea what size the clock face is, just that they are similar in size.

I mean I knew that people could walk up and stand in the little nooks on her crown area so that gave me sort of a size comparison and I knew the book must be massive, way bigger than Big Ben's clock. It's a very big statue.

An astronomical version would be fun. Planets, stars, galaxies, etc.

Yeah the "new here" instructions are completely wrong on mobile.

Also the control could just be a slider. Much easier and simpler on all platforms.

    Nice idea though.
