I have recently started trying to lead a self-employed life (no longer employed). To this end, I have a number of websites, and I offer my services to companies. Consequently, I now have to deal with sending invoices, and sometimes things go wrong. That is how I came into contact with XML files.

I regularly received notifications that the invoice format was incorrect. Very frustrating. If I wanted to send out an invoice quickly, I had to spend an hour searching the internet to figure out how to adjust it.

I thought: this needs to be made easier for people with busy lives, so I built a solution to quickly check if invoices were correct and, if not, to immediately see what is wrong. This worked so well that I am now trying to sell it (as an entrepreneur ;-).

Because we now have clients everywhere thanks to the internet, I initially found it overwhelming that many countries have their own rules and standards. I didn't know this before. With this new knowledge, I am now trying to solve this by integrating as many country rules and formats as possible into our website (and in the local language too!). I am far from complete, but that is my goal! Please let me know which country, rule, or format I am still missing, or which language I should also support to make the invoicing process easier for you.
