"Put[ting] America First" would require a time machine. America is not in shape to be Put First because it has destroyed all of its resources, tangible and intangible. The factories have been torn out, the transportation and energy infrastructure that served them has also been torn out, and nothing like any of that could be built today. It would take "real money" in both senses of the word, but there isn't any. It would also take real (in some sense) people, and there aren't any of those either, because the first thing that was torn out was the educational system. In hindsight, we lost World War II, in the sense that it left us mentally exhausted beyond any possible recovery, hence the reversion to infancy. What we saw last night was a vote against the system, manifesting as anti-incumbency. We have reached a point where victory in one election guarantees defeat in the next. We will slam back and forth between two hard stops until the machine disintegrates -- maybe next time, maybe a couple more cycles.

    5) Don't blow the deficit

    6) Stop taking Americans' healthcare

    7) Don't get distracted by foreign policy when Americans are livid about the billionaires' data centers.
