Customers will instead scan a QR code from the bank's app at participating ATMs to access their money. This means users will need to be able to unlock their phone and log in to the bank app, as well as know their account PIN, to make withdrawals, adding more layers of security compared with cash cards that require just a PIN.
The app will also be the only way for customers to manage deposits. Users will not be able to log in to Emut's website through personal computers or other devices, as a further defense in case information is leaked in a cyberattack.
