Note that Terminal.app now supports 24-bit truecolor, that shipped with macOS 25, I think. Finally.

I'm not able to test the OSC52 escape at the moment. FWIW Terminal.app was the only terminal app on macOS (besides xterm itself) to fully support xterm-style size and position escapes, last I checked back when I was using a tiling window manager on Linux and wanted some keyboard shortcuts for window resize in the terminal. That was many years ago.
