Why did I write a blog post on basic C++ when other pages exist? I strongly believe that there is a shortage of basic C++ blog posts as the old sites that we learnt from decay and disappear. There is no harm in repeating information.
Plus, I sometimes see the mistakes mentioned in the post in actual production code. We can all do with a refresher sometimes.
