When I started designing it I had to think about why I wanted those things, what I was trying to achieve with the visibility, the convenience of data entry and the integration with the rest of my life, and I realised it was a chance to rethink the whole experience around some core principles. Everything on the calendar should earn its place, ideally by being actionable, important information should be prominent, and when there's nothing important or imminent it should be calm and not fight for attention.
It's a one-time purchase, no subscription, with a 14-day trial of everything before the app drops back to a simpler free calendar (handwriting and calendar sync stay free). I've kept the tracking as light as I could, which means no analytics and your calendar goes directly between your device and your own accounts. Both platforms record a small amount of data on a server for tracking the trial and Android sends crash reports, which are on by default and can be switched off in Settings. The privacy policy lists exactly what leaves your device.
