    > Governance, risk, compliance

Small advisory roles for young companies, NGOs and free workshops for young and non-professionals. "What the hell are governance, risk, compliance, in the first place and does anybody care?" ...

Aren't governance, risk, compliance the most ignored in reality and more of a "stage acting" thing until shit goes haywire?

which industry? I would have thought that resources for dealing with such feelings to be generic, universal.

Governance, risk, compliance. The advice I've found on HN is really geared specifically towards technologists and software engineers, hence my asking for something more generic.

        > Governance, risk, compliance.

What experience does the person have in that field? For instance, have they worked at an audit practice (doesn't have to be one of the Big Four)?

          Decades, yes, they currently do.

If after decades in a domain could it be that what they're feeling is something closer to relevance / being on the cutting edge (young vs old) rather than having imposter syndrome? If it is truly the latter, then I don't think they will ever get out of it - if after decades you are still not confident in your skills...

That's a fair perspective, appreciate the input.
