There is no "I" in "Team".

There is also no "Team" in "Milwaukee Brewers".

So here is the narrative, as I understand it: two brothers, their son, and 997 other Brewers fans plunked down $1,000 ten years ago, for "timeless tickets". Now, I believed these were like perpetual season tickets, but they are not. They are engraved brass plaques that can be redeemed for one big ticket of their choosing, which most of the fans took as a chance at good seats for the next World Series.

Now, despite being a very lousy investment, the fans turned out to redeem the Timeless Tickets for the World Series now, and they discovered, among the prices rising to over $4,000 for a single seat, that they were being offered some really lousy seats, Bob Uecker-style.

So now they are pissed that their $1,000 bad investment didn't go as far as they expected. But it seems that the legal Terms of Service had every loophole imaginable to let the team just offer these shitty seats as "best available" to these very hopeful and optimistic, and formerly rich, fans.

Should it be acceptable to scam stupid people? That's sort of the impression I'm getting from your framing.
