Just an hour ago I was thinking what would happen if we make it mandatory that mega shops cannot exist. I mean a max floor area of 50ft x 50ft is good enough for any kind of shop. I remember going to Texas and seeing all the small small shops shutdown because only Walmarts are thriving. And now in India too we see such rottenness and the small guy has no where to run and open a shop.
I was thinking about making a nation building game on these constraints.
What are your thoughts as an actual city builder if 50ft x 50ft per shop is going to help the small guy like me. I also want to constraint each individual to own only upto two shops. That's all. More money than that and you enjoy life or open a factory but you cannot snatch away little guy's opportunities
