What about insider trading by government officials?

Gifts from entities needing government approvals or under investigation?

Buying and selling of stocks in the same time frame as negotiation or pressure campaigns related to the same businesses?

Business deals with leaders of foreign countries arranged during diplomatic visits?

I am going to make $ millions when they release those hotlines!

Somehow I don't think that is the information they're after.

        Yeah.

An ambiguous threat of prosecution for corruption, hanging over the entire government workforce, with complaints accepted from anyone is a common tool for suppressing dissent and centralizing power.

As apposed to the practice of hiring professional auditors to systematically verify and strengthen compliance and transparency.

1% reward, up to $30K, sounds kind of low, especially considering the enforcement is likely to be politically biased.

For tax evasion, the IRS will reward whistleblowers 15-30% of the amount recovered. People have gotten millions of dollars.

If it includes themselves being party to it, would they change the legality of it. They have legalized many things that were illegal I believe.

    Such as:

    - gifts to politicians

    - self directed crypto

    - Snyder v. United States renamed bribes as gratuities LOL and now its legal!
