The greatest example of such blind complacency toward the USA by the Dutch police is Roman Storm from Tornado Cash. They ruined this guy's life just because the USA added him to their OFAC sanctions list, which is absolutely unrelated to the EU. He had to deal with an incompetent judge who didn't even know how to judge him properly, which ended with his sudden release just when Tornado Cash was recently removed from the USA's OFAC list. And this case is only a drop in the ocean, as there have been hundreds of cases like this, less covered by the press, over the decades, with USA prosecutors bringing bogus money laundering charges based entirely on what some service operator happened to say on Twitter or due to strong privacy-minded ideologies.
I apologize for being a bit emotional on this one, but it feels very unfair that this 'European Sovereign Cloud' movement only surged when europeans (or more accurately - EU think tanks, since most europeans don't like to think on their own) didn't like Trump becoming president. Where was our EU sovereignty all that time before?
So a bogus terrorist claim is enough
