I know lots of Palantir employees who have started to kick puppies for fun, to show how based they are.

Stated with an equal amount of evidence as Sankar. Which is to say, entirely invented.

I stopped smoking 30 years ago because it made me stink and everything I own stink and made me feel like crap. It wasn’t I was unaware it caused cancer and all sorts of other things (cure cancer ok, but lung disease?) but is anyone unaware of this that smokes?

This is total BS. No one is taking up smoking because cancer will be cured, because the reasons to not smoke are a lot more social than medical at this point. I suspect Palantir leadership is so used to lying that it’s become pathological and they can’t speak with it being laced with lies. Truly the worst of the worst, which for modern tech is a rarified honor.

Palantir's internal wiki used to have a page that suggested nicotine as a nootropic. I believe people tried it too

"So many AI researchers have started smoking as a way of signaling to other researchers how much they believe in AI," Sankar said in an interview on CBS News' "Face the Nation" on Sunday.

The logic, he said, is: "I believe so much in AI that it's going to cure cancer. So I'm showing you my chips are all in."

Of all the batshit quotes from AI meatheads, this is easily the best so far. Not a cult though...

A Palantir executive says more drug-addled bullshit.

    Just another Tuesday.
