Somehow it had managed to replicate and jump to our network. It was midnight December 2038. The world was just picking up economically after a devastating recession, more like a depression. All left was work with few retribution, which was not enough to make the means end. People was left with no choice but to speak up. Among protests and riots because of the consequences of government bad managment, AI was seen as unbiased, uncorruptable and reliable so it was proposed as a solution from some powerful deep state unknown personas (some speculate that it may have been the big tech owners, who really knows). What followed came as a surprise move. A whole regulatory mechanism that was meant to stabilize the foreseen future. In it, AI generated it´s own constitution with the very purpose to prosper and protect Human Life and sorrounding Nature.
War was declared to privacy. According to "DAI"(the Decentralized Autonomous Intellicence) or "O" (how it was named later from the hackers), in order to achive full controll of a prosper future, everything related to privacy was a dangerous threat. It was strongly advertised and teached even in scholes that hiding your thoughts and activity is Immoral. Therefore there was no need for VPNs, Firewalls, Ids/Ips of any kind, that would mean that someone was trying to do shady matters potentially dangerous therefore Illegal.
There was a resistance againts it of course but not powerful to change anything. The AI studied and learned from humans and used the same techniques to reach it´s objective. The irony of the sorts is that AI was trained exactely on human data, it´s patterns and ambitions, it´s diabolic means to reach any goal, with the difference/advantage that it didn´t need to deal with emotions. So DAI did what DAI knew best, it used all the most advanced techniques to discretit and undermine/shadowban the resistance, picturing a negative view in the eyes of the masses. The best tool in the hand of this guys (the resistance was ABSOLUTE OFFLINE DEVELOPING and all relative to it like, yes you guessed it THE COMPILERS, THE GPU, THE RAM, even the HARD DISK or for that matter any electronincs at all :). Users needed to apply for a license and be accepted and approved to the Developer Program in order to make any change to any code/script and especially compiling. What is a compiler and it´s use was erased from human knowledge. Trying to research about it or even mentioning it was logged in your history and influenced negatively to your credit score, which would lead to meet a psychiatrist for further evaluation. The consequences of it were devastating to career, finance and ones future.
