HN used to see a lot more submissions from them, but it’s slowed down considerably since their zombification; I’m not sure whether the shotgun approach to stories is what earns them the occasional chart-topper here, but two of the most-discussed Quartz stories ever (if Algolia is of any validity anyways) followed that AI conversion, which either indicates growth in HN participation over time and/or a continued interest in their largely-AI writing. If anyone has an HN replica database handy, qz.com count and upvotes normalized against site wide post count and upvotes per day would be very interesting to consider here.
