So it’s an exact replica of Teams then?
I’ve had Teams kill 2 potential jobs for me. As is custom, I like to join the interview lobby early, like 5-10 mins. Teams will state that the meeting hasn’t started yet but I will join when it does. Guess what? Meeting starts. Interviewer sees I’m not there and bails. No point interviewing someone who is not on time.
I reached out to the recruiter both times and let them know I was waiting in the lobby but the meeting hadn’t started at the scheduled time. Regardless of any rescheduling, the tone has soured.
This happened to me twice as an interviewee and multiple times as an interviewer. Teams is awful.
