Warning: the article downloads the android apk. Whoever posted the link was at best over enthusiastic.

The website which explains the app is https://streamx1.com/

How do you even afford to pay for licenses with the big media companies to stream their content on your new $5/month platform?!

They don't. The landing page says "We do not sell or provide any content or IPTV services." Seems it's for local media.

I’ve been working on an Android TV/phone app that’s basically my attempt at making watching TV and movies a little simpler and more affordable.

The idea was pretty straightforward: give people a lot to watch without asking them to pay for a bunch of different subscriptions.

It has live channels, TV shows, and movies, with content available in multiple languages. I wanted it to be something where you can open the app, find something interesting, and just start watching without having to jump between a bunch of different services.

It’s currently $5/month, and it works on Android devices.

I’m still working on improving the experience, adding content, and making the app better. Building it has definitely been a learning experience, especially trying to figure out what people actually want from a TV app.

I’m sharing it here because I’d genuinely like to get some feedback from people who watch a lot of TV/streaming.

What’s one thing you wish your current TV/streaming apps did better?
