    I have strong feeling that AMD had really messed up this release.

    This was supposed to be released in July i think? In the meantime Apple has released 256gb and 512gb parts.

    Somebody willing to take the leap and spend serious money in an llm-capable pc might be better off on apple hardware rather than AMD hardware.

      The issue isn't just the amount of memory, but also the memory bandwidth.

      They slightly bumped the memory bandwidth from 256 GB/s to 273 GB/s, but are competing against 1,228.8 GB/s on the M5 Ultra.
