Wow. Apparently both pilots were incapacitated, which to my knowledge has never happened before in the history of commercial aviation. Luckily there were two other pilots on board who took control. Wild story.
Double incapacitation has happened at least once before - Helios flight 522 (another wild and this time tragic story).
