Claude Code is the only one that stuck, and not for the agent reasons people usually pitch. What brings me back is the work I'd otherwise never do at all: small side projects for myself that were never worth a weekend before. Everything else I tried got opened once. Those were all the cases where I still had to check every step, which is just the work plus a translation layer. The keeper is the task where being wrong costs me nothing.
