    And workers in general. We have come to see income tax as the norm, but it is a relatively recent invention. For a socialist tax would be according to your ability to pay, which has more to do with wealth than income. To an aspirational conservative it should be seen as penalising success.

    Time for some new ideas.

      You are right, who needs schools, hospitals, roads, firies.

      I agree that governments at all levels are wasteful and everything done by them seems expensive. However the alternative its far more expensive, ask your American friends about healthcare.
