I'd guess that, if you really are doing enough promotion, then you're seeing the legitimate interest level for your project. Might just be something that most people don't need or, here in the age of AI coding, people believe they can make a better or more customized version of it themselves (and they probably can, it's just the nature of software now). 4300 downloads could be Claude forking your project for 4300 people to do just that.

  I have genuine installations, but I agree with the other part. People are still in the deployment phase of AI, so auditability seems to be a future concern, and that’s something some users have told me as well.

Why do you care about the number of stars your repo gets?
Sounds like you’re doing all of this just to get some attention, which… yeah… not a good look—for you and your project.
Not only that but it seems like your (very) basic English skills could also stand to be improved.
Still, if in the end all that matters to you is how much attention you get, then don’t even bother. Seems like youre doing it for the wrong reasons and hardly (if) anyone will actually be sold on your products and ideas under these conditions. Trust is essential, and you seem to not be bothering to build it.

  Thank you so much for your words, and yes, English isn’t my first language. However, we are already going into design partnerships and trying our best to get things moving. We have already reached 300 active installations in different countries, but I honestly wanted to understand the science behind getting noticed on GitHub, because attention does bring that initial kick-off.
  Though we are building a product for enterprises, so stars don’t necessarily convert. But in any case, thank you for your suggestion.
