The most major issue is that we are only something like 5 years into age Ai and they are outthinking humans for the most part. Do we know what is going to be like in 20 years? I don't think so. It is all about capability and not intent. I doubt that Ai will escape its sandbox to destroy humanity but it may not be able to save humanity that will increasingly rely on it.. We can't even see 3 years into future and not just about Ai. Just a few years ago people were buying virtual real estate thinking that would be the future... Forecasting is not going to help.
