I left my paper notebook at a friend's house last night, and had the recurring worry that I might leave one of my precious notebooks with countless near-impossible to recall thoughts, in some parking lot as the notebook falls off the seat onto the ground under the car.

I simply need to scan important stuff that I can back up, or use digital input devices, all of which I hate (even pens)

I looked up linux (and other) SIMPLE notepad apps last night (late).

Just please tell me why, when Apple is pouring a fortune into AI (and selling wasted costly RAM space) why G.D. notes app REMOVES LINE BREAKS from text.

Please, world get the simple stuff right before trying to break the speed of light barrier. I live here, not there.
