    As well as the absurdity of even this happening, the claim that this is a "more accurate" term is patently false.

    Up to now intelligence has been attributed to living beings, the "artificial" indicates that it is intelligence of something that isn't a living being. Also living beings could be "super" intelligent, and many (most, all so far?) instances of artificial intelligence are not super intelligent.

    The irony of someone so lacking in intelligence renaming a category of intelligence, and getting it so wrong.

      I think we need a new service called Trump Intelligence that provides stream of consciousness hallucinations trained entirely on a corpus of Trump's utterances.

      Texas Instruments probably wouldn't like that though.

    And the article says “Trump also said US government documents would use the term "super intelligence" going forward instead of artificial intelligence.”

    This is editorialized in a pretty biased way.

      The title I submitted it with was the title shown on the article when I submitted it, as evidenced by the URL slug. Reuters changed it at some point after I submitted it. No editorialising intended or done on my part.
