The underlying theory as presented is ubiquitous, quintessentially human. Why would it not exist in this field of discourse?

On both sides. People liking AI but feel they have to say they don't and people not liking AI but feel they have to say they do. I feel the latter is more prevalent but maybe that's just my bubble.
