    On September 11th 2001 a small Operations team at the BBC had the job to keep the BBC on the Internet and keep the servers running. At the time, a lot of the BBC's international-facing server capacity was in THNY, close to ground zero. Although staff in the UK were a long way away they still had a job to do. This is the incident ticket from that day and how BBC Ops responded.

      The show must go on. Honestly, the attacks should’ve been a minor annoyance for the rest of the world. I believed an example of this is shown here.
