Was looking for a way to test out an exe without having to use my own vm. Over the years I've built out a bunch of stuff to spin up vm's in a variety of ways (gcp/azure/aws/proxmox/qemu/guacamole/vmware/hyperv/etc..) so I'm pretty familiar with this space. However I just stumbled upon AppOnFly and was blown away. Instant Windows Desktop as Admin in browser (they are using guacamole) with a free 20 minute trial. Paid rates are incredibly reasonable (and can retain state). Yeah you don't get a gpu, but wow the UX is so frictionless and simple. Bravo.
