Today's "senior" (and some staff) engineers have been downgraded into junior level and are suffering from comprehension debt as they openly admit that they do not look at the code, nor can they even explain it.

Title inflation in this industry is a real thing and I predict that Leetcoding in person will be the best way to hire candidates and eliminate the cheaters.
