Not sure if this was a backdoor culture war post, but it seems that part of the reason for the gender imbalance would be seasonal hiring for education and other sectors that lean female. (Why and whether that should be the case is in some ways another discussion)

But this post is also interesting that it’s someone with a biology degree seemingly searching for nondescript “white collar work”?

Look the economy is shit and I wish for a world where everyone is employable, but does seem like there’s a fairly specific way to talk about this particular post.
