The app is still dumb. just a tab bit less messed up. Problem: There is still no Windows Notepad for Mac. I wanted something for people who use Notepad as a place to dump random text and then forget about it. I'm not trying to replace TextEdit, CotEditor, Sublime, etc. Those are proper text editors. This is for people who paste a tracking number in it and close the window. You open it. Type something. Close it. Come back later. It's still there. That's basically the whole idea. Someone messaged me saying the app was great but they couldn't print from it. I completely forgot printing was a thing. So now Cmd+P actually prints using the normal macOS print dialog. You can also choose whether to include the filename at the top or just print the text. Autosave If you're working on an actual file, it now saves while you type and when you switch away from the app. Untitled tabs still don't touch your disk. They're just there until you decide to save them. Redesigned the whole thing Tabs are now in the title bar instead of looking like a Windows app awkwardly running on a Mac. Light and dark mode too.
