From what people have found, the site is heavily likely to be vibe-coded, has a lot of security issues, and does many of the same things people complain about Twitter doing (using your content to train AI models for example).

Now, this may have fixed the last time the site was taken down. But it seems pretty clear the folks running this have no idea what they're doing, tech or otherwise.

I don't think the Twitter trademark can be considered to be abandoned if the name used to replace is so bad that everyone still calls it Twitter.

    > We’re down. We’re on it. Already learning things the hard way.

What a joke. Also I don't think that site will last a year because...

...Twitter is a registered trademark of X Corp. A subsidiary of SpaceXAI and is under the parent company Space Exploration Technologies Corp (SpaceX).

I predict that the lawyers are going to seize that website with a trademark dispute followed by a UDRP take down request.

There is an active court case to determine this. Bluebird asserts that rebranding the company to X is trademark abandonment. XCorp of course says "nuh uh"

Trademarks and domain names are separate matters.

It would be interesting to see a clone under a totally different name (like "Operation Bluebird" here) but still use a twitter.tld domain.
