That is one insane eldritch breakfast burrito. I am not certain I would want to eat at an establishment capable of being persuaded that was an acceptable facsimile.

I caught that the last time it went around Bluesky, and much as I like to dunk on awful genAI, it seemed pretty clear that it was a fictional poster designed to sucker in people who want to dunk on awful genAI

I am not so sure. I have seen similar things in the wild. Admittedly nothing thst BSD, but still clearly identifiable as generated.

Even before AI deceptive ads by showing renders/etc of a product were a problem, but I think I'd support a law that says any advertised product must show at least one real photo, unedited except for optional background removal, of the product prepared/resting as typical.

Fried pickle chips $14. How am I supposed to enjoy myself?

Fuuuckkking hell, is the Carlinesque "average person"(1) restaurant operator blind to how ugly these fucking things look?

At least give me some obviously painting food images like https://www.etsy.com/listing/1591393721/1950s-vintage-food-i..., rather than obviously AI images of disgusting proto-food...

As sibling comment said, maybe this is a good "brown M&M" for restaurants.
