Great article. Something has always stunk about Ground News to me, especially when I see it as a YouTube video essay sponsor for people like Hank Green or Leeja Miller. It truly is a vehicle for enabling the worst aspects of bothsides-ism and legitimizing poor journalism through false equivalence.

As a former reporter, I tell people that news can and should be biased. Why do the job of a journalist, why even get up in the morning, if you don't have values and beliefs.
