Basically every Package Manager (aka "App Store", "Software Installer" for future readers new to Linux!) from every separate, disparate, incompatible-with-all-of-the-others Linux distro (distribution) which previously didn't work on a different Linux (with the possible exception of Bedrock Linux) -- now work on all Linuxes via Containers.

To repeat,

All Linux Package Managers can now work on all Linux distros!

What a brilliant idea!

Previously (in earlier Linux history!), that was impossible...

(In fact, it might be a good idea to create to create the most "Vanilla-est" (simplest, barebones) Linux that can run Distrobox, and Distrobox alone... Maybe Alpine's Mini Root Filesystem image can do this, or with a few additional files... if so it would be a good candidate. Maybe the most minimum TinyCore Linux can, and if so, it would also be a good candidate... Maybe Linux From Scratch would be a good candidate...)

Anyway, Distrobox looks great!
