I am sure wedding is seen as just another networking opportunity, whereas honeymoon is like a vacation.

They had AI investment networking sessions scheduled for the wedding, but after his fund crashed they pivoted the itinerary to sessions about life and philosophy:

        > Guests had been invited to networking sessions meant to spark conversations about investment ideas and AI trends. But in what can only be described as peak Bay Area tech culture, these sessions were quietly reworked from bullish market discussions, to sessions about life and philosophy.

Actually, most of their "special hedge funds" which are sold mainly to wealthy people are not doing good compared to a standard index like SP500 or N100.

Those products have very often hefty fee (plus additional performance component), and the return isnt that spectacular (even before fees).

The Schadenfreude is fine, but maybe they are smarter than the S&P and have bet against some hypes, just a little early?
