Because when I login I see tweets from a few youtubers I watch, the guy who made my favorite font, some excellent aesthetics collage posters, a few of the remaining local urbanists that didn't jump ship, and some memey shitposters.
Are there slightly more chuds/bot in the replies throwing slurs around or spinning wild, insane conspiracy theories? Sure. But you can just ignore them. Mute words. Blocking still works too.
I mean, I get it that some people just don't want to see that and that's fine, but I don't use threads or instagram either, and I don't also make sweeping generalizations about the people who use it because I literally couldn't know.
