In my 25 years of experience at multiple companies and the thousands of people I spoke to, I have to yet to anyone say "my offshore team is good. They actually do something".

I spoke to 2 of my friends in the last week, they both have GCCs, and have expressed deep displeasure with their large teams in India.

Every company seems to have massive offshore teams, but nobody really knows what they do. At least not the FTE/Contractors in US who interact with them.
