As I understand it his suspension relates to his egregious racist comments in general, not Arday specifically. Terms of employment at a university often come with clauses with this effect, even as bastions of free speech institutions put obligations on your employment.

Some of what he said about Arday has justification. Much of what he says about people does not. He appears to be an overt white supremacist. If you know even a little about Belgian history you would know this is a sensitive topic to the country once ruled by King Leopold II, and Ghent University is in Belgium.
