It's a comment to the press after the first day of trial. A comment from a political figure, even. It has to do with optics, nothing more. Both sides try to paint themselves as right to the press and the public. It's about managing public perception, but it has zero to do with what actually happens in the trial.

The state AGs have a very strong body of evidence. If I were betting person, I would expect that Meta loses this case from the arguments I've seen presented. The reason why they're in court in the first place is because the AGs have provable claims.
