Getting those done in 12 to 15 years is not exactly a high achievement by Apple's standards. I have long thought and written on HN how Apple Pay, Wallet, Apple Cash, Apple Card is under developed.

So this is another nice direction which is hope is part of John's big plan.

On another note: A lot of these personnel changes is happening under the last phase of Tim Cook as CEO. I seriously doubt this is Tim's plan given his past 10 - 12 years of management restructure and HR. My guess is likely the new structure and people are picked by John while happening ahead of time under Tim to speed up the whole transaction. And it is likely something John requested.

If that is the case, this is another win of my vote for John.
