Considering how much news publishers are struggling to keep the lights on, this can only be a good thing. Anything that can slow, delay or cancel the race to $0 new can only be a good thing.
I have a hunch this might eventually displace Google as a search engine on iOS that is...because it deals directly with information recency and relevance. While Google is moving ads into Gemini, Siri AI will hopefully get rid of them completely.
