    This is approval for the Wayve/Uber service but ApolloGo/Lyft and Waymo are unlikely to be far behind.

    I've seen both the Wayve and Waymo being tested on the roads where I live. No real complaints about either, though a Waymo did flash its headlights at me when I ran out in front of it at a zebra crossing which I hope was meant as an acknowledgment rather than a warning.

      Yes, the 'pedestrians first' vibe in London may be a learning curve for these. Where I live there are several junctions ,(without crossings) where folks just step out and expect cars to wait.

    This is going to be interesting. London streets are a different prospect from American ones (a lot narrower and windier in the suburbs).
