I think the data from FHRS is more comprehensive than on OSM as it covers bars, clubs etc. If you have an alcohol license you appear in the FHRS data
I know there have been some access issues today, I think it is down to Cloudflare changing its bot protection.
The app is to compare pub density in your area, it doesn't have a search facility - there are loads of alternatives to search for a pub.
Bar staff don't universally view half pint orders with respect.
Technically, this is only the pub density in Great Britain - the UK is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", and Northern Ireland is not covered, so...
